01

Identify music genre from an audio file

Upload a recording to compare model genre scores and related styles. A composition may combine electronic production, rock guitars and vocals, or change style between sections. Several strong scores can be more informative than one definitive label.

02

Find a song’s BPM and tempo

BPM means beats per minute. A tempo estimate helps set up a DAW project or compare tracks for a DJ set. Some rhythms support half-time or double-time interpretations; listen to the alternatives, especially with syncopation or loose timing.

03

Detect the musical key of a track

The analyzer estimates a tonic and scale from harmonic features. This offers a starting point for working out chords or harmonic mixing. Key changes, percussion without pitched content and short excerpts can leave the estimate uncertain.

04

Analyze musical mood and sound

Models evaluate emotional and sonic attributes independently, such as relaxed or aggressive character and acoustic or electronic sound. These categories can overlap. The result describes the recording rather than your personal emotional response to it.

05

Create a Suno style description

The prompt combines genre, rhythm and mood attributes supported by the analysis into English text. Treat it as a draft and refine instrumentation, structure and delivery. It does not reconstruct the original track or guarantee a similar generation.

Questions about music analysis

Does SonicID find a song’s title and artist?

No. SonicID analyzes musical attributes in uploaded audio. It does not search a catalog for matching songs.

How accurate are the results?

There is no single meaningful accuracy percentage for an individual track. Recording quality, length and arrangement affect estimates. Check tempo and key consistency, warnings and the analyzed duration.

What happens to my file and history?

Source audio is deleted after analysis; an unused upload expires after about 30 minutes. Results remain for 30 days for accounts and 24 hours for guests. Administrators can view analysis history and technical visitor information.
